Following her graduation from high school, Victoria attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where she graduated in spring 1971 with a degree in elementary education. During the summer of that year, Victoria went on vacation to the Pacific Northwest for some relaxation following her graduation. She was killed in an automobile accident on the return trip home near the town of Cedar City, Utah on July 12, 1971 at the age of 22 years.
Funeral mass was said for Victoria in the St. Francis Xavier Church located at 4715 North Central in Phoenix. Following these services, her body was transported to Prescott, Arizona where she was laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery. She was unmarried at the time of her death.
