Martin G. Henderson Dead
Martin G. Henderson, Junction City, a former Emporia shoemaker, died Monday morning in Junction City.
Funeral services will be held in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, with the time to be announced.
Martin G. Henderson, the son of John and Elizabeth Heggenbotham Henderson, was born April 12th, 1873, in Pennsylvania, and was married to Mary G. Shield June 28th, 1893, in Lawrence. He had been a resident of Emporia for a number of years before he moved, in Jan. 1952, to Junction City. He was a member of the Christian Church, Union Lodge 13, I. O. O. F., and Rebekah Lodge 36. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died May 21st, 1844, and he is survived by two sons, Charles A., Okla., and Leroy M., Junction City; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
