Mrs. Anna Hacker, 60, of 179 South Laurel street, died at the Hazleton State Hospital Sunday morning at 1:20 o'clock. She had been ill since November and underwent an abdominal operation last Friday. She was born in Hazleton, and has resided here all her life, and is a member of the Grace Reformed church.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Hacker, one step-daughter, Mrs. Harold Drake, of this city, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Catherine Hoppich, Miss Elizabeth Kneis, August E. Kneis and Harry W. Kneis, all of this city.
The funeral strictly private, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence, with Rev. William Gebhard officiating, and interment will be in the Vine street cemetery.
