COLUMBUS – Funeral services were held for Mrs. H.A. Barraclough, Wednesday afternoon at one thirty from the Albrecht Funeral Home and two o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Reverend William Whittle officiating. Interment at Hillside.

Emma Gertina (Peterson) Barraclough was born in the Town of Otsego, on January 7th, 1877 of pioneer parents, Ingbor and Kunte Peterson. She spent her early childhood at home on the farm with her parents. On September 27th, 1903, she was united in marriage to Henry A. Barraclough and the couple took up residence in the town of Fountain Prairie, Columbia County. About nineteen years ago Mr. and Mrs. Barraclough moved to Columbus where they have since resided. Mrs. Barraclough was a confirmed member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she faithfully worshiped until the time of her death, which occurred January 12th, 1941, at the age of 64 years and 5 days.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Fahrenkopf; a grandson; three brothers, Hans, Peter and Willie; three sisters, Sena, Mrs. Herman Hegna, and Mrs. John Barraclough.
