His brother: EAU CLAIRE – John Barraclough 83, 225 Moppa Street, died at Sacred Heart Hospital Sunday. He had been in poor health for about two months.
Formerly a resident of Rio, Mr. Barraclough had lived here for about three years.
He is survived by his wife, Mayme; two sons, Casper, Madison, Irving, Rockford, Illinois; and two stepsons, Vernon and Clarence Douphner, Eau Claire.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at Rio. Burial will be in the Rio cemetery.

EAU CLAIRE – John Barraclough, 84, a Rio resident until about five years ago, died at an Eau Claire hospital on Saturday, June 27.
He was a retired carpenter and also did concrete construction work.
Surviving are his wife of Eau Claire; two sons, Kasper, Madison, and Irving, Rockford, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Sell and Mrs. Frank Ludwig, both of Beaver dam; three brothers, Bennie, Minneapolis, Harry, Columbus, and Martin, address unknown. A son, Sanford, was killed in World War II in the southwest Pacific area.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Thompson-Kellogg Chapel, the Reverend Stanley Tarrant, Columbus, officiating.
