Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Harding Arbogast, 89, were held at Central Methodist Church, Oct 31 with Rev. A.E. Johnson officiating. Mrs. Arbogast died Saturday morning after a lingering illness. Special music was rendered by Mrs. P L Mauzy, Mrs. C. K. Colaw & R.H. Crummett, who sang “The Beautiful Garden of Prayer” and “Does Jesus Care”, They were accompanied by Mm H L Simmons, pianist. Active pallbearers were the three grandsons Raymond Jr, James a& John Arbogast; R.H. and Richard Crummett and Fred Moyers. Interment was in the Monterey cemetery. Mrs. Arbogast was the widow of William Arbogast and was born Dec. 3, 1860. She was a member of the Central Methodist church for a number of years. She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Flemmle Fitzwater and Mrs. Nan Swartz of Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Sallie Fitch Arlington and Mrs. Evelyn McGee, California; four sons Hubert of Staunton, Raymond of Fairmont, Ben at home and William of Monterey; 13 grand children and ten great-grandchildren.
