Donna Katherine Sims, 71, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 13, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Sims was born June 13, 1941, in Sparta, the daughter of Donald Gaines and Clara Dean Collins Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James "Bud" Stewart; and a great-grandson, Oliver Tylka.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Dec. 16, 2012, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Jerry Barnwell and Robbie Crisp officiated.
