Moses Perkins was the 1st son, and the 1st born, out of 5 children, to Barnabas "Barney" and Margaret "Peggy" Yount Perkins.
He had 7 more 1/2 siblings from his Father's 1st marriage to Elizabeth Bright.

Moses was the main heir in his Grandfather Moses's will.

Moses married Hannah Samples on Dec 22 1847 in Franklin Co., KY. Hannah's parentage is still unknown, but we're getting closer! Moses and Hannaha had 7 Children of their own.

Gravesite Details

This is an obelisk type marker standing some five feet high. The name is arched. The inscription above is on the north side and that of Hannah Samples Perkins is on the east side of the stone.
