Amber Marie Hawkins was born on May 20, 1982 in Mountain View, Mo. She was the daughter of William "Eugene" Hawkins and Dinah Louise (Rockwell) Davis. She left this life behind on April 16, 2005 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. at the age of 22 years, 10 months, and 27 days. Preceding her in death are her grandfather, Edwin James "Rocky" Rockwell, grandparents Glen and Bonnie Hawkins and stepgrandfather, Norman Smith. Amber is survived by her 9 month old son and light of her life, James Jackson Grimmett; her mother, Dinah Davis of Willow Springs, Mo., her father and stepmother, Eugene and Karen Hawkins of Winona, Mo., her campanion, Mike Grimmett of Fremont, Mo., one brother, Adam Hawkins of Winona, Mo., stepbrothers, Kevin and Derick Feldbaumer of Birch Tree, Mo., grandmother Clara Smith of Lampasas, Texas; stepgrandmother, Janet Hughs of Willow Springs, Mo., stepgrandparents, Ivan and Rosemary Brawley of Winona, Mo.; greatgrandmother, Ping Pong of Lampasas,Texas; stepgreatgrandmother, Nan Lever of South Hampton,England; stepgrandfather Carl Hamm of Fort Worth,Texas; nephews, Kelton Sartin of Winona,Mo. and Thaysen Feldbaumer of Birch Tree,Mo.; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Amber leaves a hole in many hearts with her passing, but will always be remembered for her bright and ready smile for everyone. She will truly be missed by all, each in their own way, but would want for you to remember all the wonderful memories she left behind. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 19,2005, at Duncan Funeral Chapel in Winona,Mo. with Craig Stephenson officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Birch Tree, Mo. under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home.
