Fred James Burnett, 97, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died March 23, 2008 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. He was born July 26, 1910 at Ball Creek, Arkansas, the son of John and Ettie Edens Burnett. He was a farmer and a member of the Ball Creek Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ova Ray Patrick Burnett on December 13, 2000. He was also preceded in death by three sons, two infants and Clifford Burnett and by three brothers, Lloyd Burnett, Clyde Burnett and Charlie Burnett. Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Marilyn Burnett of Ball Creek, Arkansas, Frank and Mary Burnett of Japton, Arkansas and Ike and Oma Burnett of Combs, Arkansas; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Christeen Reynolds of Combs, Arkansas, Marie Wright of Algona, Washington, Lucille and David Johnson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Jewell and Gary Proctor of Lincoln, Arkansas; two brothers, Sidney Burnett of Douglas, Kansas and Dewey Burnett of Springdale, Arkansas; four sisters, Virgie Elvington and Edna Scott, both of Omak, Washington, Della Bailey of Spokane, Washington and Zella Davenport of Springdale, Arkansas; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 26, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Johnson, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
