Newport, Aug. 24. - Abraham Fickes Clouser died Wednesday, August 23, 1939, at his home on Walnut street, here. He was 63 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amanda Clouser; six sons, Albert D., Irvin R., Charles L., Russell H., and John W., all of Newport, and Lenus C., Marysville; four daughters, Mrs. Albert Dick and Miss Grace Clouser, Newport; Mrs. Lester Bender and Miss Blanche Clouser, Harrisburg; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Souder, Newport; two brothers, Raymond C., Harrisburg, and Charles, Grand Junction, Colo.
He was a member of the Lutheran church. Services were held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, here. The Rev. W. D. Mehrling, Newport Reformed Church, officiated. Burial was made in Newport cemetery.
