Kimberlin Lee Caperton was the son of Ollie Lynn and Willie Mae Vinson-Caperton, he was born 29 Aug 1918 and raised on the family farm in the Village Township located between Grubbs and Newport Arkansas. On March 1st 1940, Kim married Lillian Juanita Odom at Newport, they soon after divorced, Lillian gave birth to their son in 1941. Kim served in the US Army during World War II. After returning to Arkansas he married Mary Gladys Woodard at Newport Arkansas 29 May 1943. They raised five children between 1944 and 1959. The Kim Caperton family lived at various places from Village Township, Tuckerman area, and Grubbs Arkansas, in 1950 Detroit Michigan, Indianapolis Indiana, Vacaville California, 1953 Oklahoma City, and 1955 back to Vacaville returning to Oklahoma City in 1958, and in 1961 they returned to Arkansas where Kim stayed the remainder of his life at Grubbs. Kim and Gladys divorced in 1962. During his life Kim worked at a variety of jobs, from farming, factory worker, construction and mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grubbs. He passed away 4 Jan 1998, at the Harris Hospital in Newport.
