Services for Jess Willard Wells, 67, of Spruce Pine, were held Thursday from Spry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Smith and the Rev. Henry Wimberley officiating.
Burial followed in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Wells was retired from TVA, and was a member of Isbell United Methodist Church. A member also of Masonic Lodge No. 371 in Russellville, Wells was a veteran of World War II. He died Tuesday at his residence.
