Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., at the Ethel Presbyterian Church witn Bro. Jim Bolin and Rev Allen Vancil officiating. Burial will be in the Glaston Cemetery east of Ethel, Mo.
Mrs Jones was born 30 September 1911 in Ethel the daughter of Ransford and Ivy (Parr) Payton. On 19 April 1932 she married John H Jones of Ethel. He preceded her in death on 19 Sept 1968. Surviving are one son, John R Jones of Ethel, one daughter and her husband, Janet M and Gene Rhodes of Lee Summit, Mo., three grandchildren, Bruce Rhodes, John R Jones, and Douglas Rhodes, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ammie Rainer of Moberly and Letha Greenstreet of Newark, New York. Also preceding her in death are one son Donald Eugene Jones, two brothers, Willis and Ray Payton, three sisters, Gracie Payton, Elsie Payton and Laura Davenport.
Mrs Jones was a member of the Ethel Presbyterian Church. She made New Cambria her home when she left the farm east of Ethel. She had worked at the former Banquet Foods Plant in Macon for several years.
