Harold Wayne Maness, age 74, passed away on December 21, 2012 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Mr. Maness was born and reared in Henderson County, the son of the late Guy Lether Maness and Lura Ann Hart Maness.
He graduated from Lexington High School in 1958, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, and graduated U.T. Pharmacy School in Memphis in 1965. He married Eva Joy Yates of Henderson County in 1964. He owned and operated the Henderson Pharmacy for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. Harold loved horse riding and quail hunting. He was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Yates Maness; two daughters, Carla Becker and husband Andrew of Richmond, VA, and Cathy Maples and husband Greg of Henderson and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel, Henderson, TN. Interment will be in the Chester County Memory Gardens.
