Edward Dale Pennington, six-year-old son of James Dane Pennington and Lottie Mae Lyons, of Fall Lane, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, from injuries sustained in a fire at his home.
He was born October 10, 2006, in Rowan, Ky., and was a kindergarten student at Rodburn Elementary School in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Fyffe, and paternal grandmother, Stella Pennington.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, James D. Pennington of Morehead, Ky., two half-brothers, Trey Lyons of West Liberty, Ky., and Raymond Bishop of Sandy Hook, Ky., three sisters, Jessica Sue Pennington, Ashley Dawn Pennington, and Amy Lynn Pennington, all at home, one half-sister, Angel Lyons of West Liberty, Ky., and maternal grandmother, Gracie Rowe of Sandy Hook, Ky.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with a funeral service immediately following at 3 p.m. with Bro. Virgil Franklin Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery in Clearfield.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
