TO HOLD RITES FRIDAY FOR LATE E. F. LIVERGOOD

Funeral services for E. F. Livergood, 78, prominent Stonington resident
will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Stoninging Methodist
Church. Rev, J. A. Johnson, paster will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill
Cemetery in Taylorville.
The body was removed to the Livergood residence where friends may call
until the funeral hour at noon today from the Chestnut and Pearce funeral
home.
Mr. Livergood's death occured Wednesday noon in the Decatur and Macon
County Hospital at Decatur, where he had been a patient for one week.
He had been in poor health for the last several months.
He was born near Stonington April 24, 1864, the son of Henry and Margaret
Ann Ober Livergood. He and Laura Belle Beaman of Morrisonville were
married 50 years ago.
Besides his wife, Laura, he leaves two sons, Ober W. Livergood of Bethany, and
Ross Livergood of Decatur.
He also leaves one brother J.W. Livergood and one sister, Mrs. Phoebe Miller
both of Stonington, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Gravesite Details

At the time of his death in 1942, he was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. He was later re-interred to Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, Illinois on Oct. 4, 1961.rom Breeze Courier
