He served his country in WWII in the Army from May 26, 1942 to December 8, 1945.

He is survived by his wife Aileen, son Chet (Diane); granddaughter Michelle Livengood; and niece Patricia Andrew.

Burial will be in the Masonic Memorial Gardens in Reno, NV.
