BLUEFIELD, Va. — Audra McReynolds Miller, 86, of 636 Ashley Way, Bluefield, Va., formerly of Northfork, passed away on Dec. 20, 2012 at Loving Hands Adult Care surrounded by her family. Born on Oct. 2, 1926 in Newhall, Audra was the daughter of the late Henry McReynolds and Virgie Burks McReynolds.

She and her husband, the late Paul B. Miller, owned the Casual Corners, Miller and M & C Coal Companies, and the Northfork Dairy Queen. They donated their home in Northfork, now known as the Miller Shelter, to the West Virginia Children's Society. Audra was active in the Council of Women in Northfork. She loved her volunteer work with St. Luke's Hospital and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Alpha Upsilon sorority and of the Northfork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her true love, husband Paul B. Miller; son, Richard Blake Miller; brother, Joseph Marvin McReynolds; sister, Edra McReynolds Cline; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Miller; and great-grandson, Dominic Miller.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Sherry Miller Brown Wingate and husband Dennis of Rural Retreat, Va.; sons, Jack Miller of Bluefield, Va. and Paul Miller Jr. and wife Sharon of Fort Myers, Fla.

She was the much beloved MawMaw to grandchildren, Rick Brown (Sheri) of Bluefield, Va., Amanda Traigle (Danny) of Fayetteville, N.C., Michael Miller (Lucy), Marc Miller (Jane), Kelly Miller Neal (Jonathan), Shannon Miller Hylton (John) all of Roanoke, Va., and Paul Bryan Miller (Traci) of Goodview, Va.; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by all the extraordinary employees of Loving Hands Adult Care who took special care of her. Audra was a beautiful lady who touched the lives of all she met. She will be deeply missed.

Friends may call Saturday, Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Craven-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., following visitation with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Michael Miller, Paul Bryan Miller, Darrell Brown, Johnny Brown, Garnett Little and Lonnie Miller.
