Kathryn Kroncke Ford, 68, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, December 18. Born November 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Pearl and Elmer Kroncke, Kathy was one of six siblings. She and her husband, Charles Ford, moved to Battle Creek in 1997 and found a wonderful community of friends and fellow card players. Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Charlie. She also leaves behind a large, devoted, combined family of her two daughters, Kali Klena and Tara Klena Barthel; two sons-in-law, Fred MacRae and Fred Barthel; and two young granddaughters, Sophia Grace and Eleanor Marie; two stepdaughters, Sherri Cassidy and Kelly Bradberry, a stepson, Bruce Ford, and six beautiful grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicholas, Lauren, Olivia, Kevin and Christopher. She is also survived by her three sisters, Lorna Kroncke Flinn, Kriss Kroncke Nelson, Janice Kroncke, and many beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 22, at 10:30am at the Riverside Alano Club (223 East Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek, Michigan). In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Riverside Alano Club in Kathy's memory.
