Mamie Ann Turner, 73 formerly of 1844 Roanoke Avenue died Wednesday 19, 2012 at Liberty Commons in Weldon.

Miss Turner was born December 1, 1939 in Northampton County to the late Bernice Lee Turner and Sallie Turner Turner. She was also preceded in death by her sister: Irene Turner.

She was a member of New Testament Christian Church. She loved her church, her church family and reading her bible. She also loved talking on the telephone.

Miss Turner is survived by her brother: Robert G. Turner and his wife Anne of Windsor, NC; Her sister: Ethelene "Kitty" Butler of Wake Forest; nieces and nephews: Debbie Floyd and her husband Charlie of Gaston, Charles "Chubby" Butler and his wife Kathy of Wake Forest, NC, Ernest Butler and his wife Jean of Greer, SC, Linda Oakley and her husband Richard of Ahoskie, NC, Cindy Hodges and her husband Gary of Windsor, NC and Bobby Turner and his wife Charlene of Williamston, NC; special cousin: Marilyn Phelps and a number of great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at New Testament Christian Church with Dale Morris, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 P.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
