Linda Leota Stanton, 59, of Coatesville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, in the St. Vincent Hospice Center in Indianapolis.

Born Aug. 15, 1953 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of James Russell Shoemaker and Edith Marie (Overshiner) Whitt.

She married her husband of 40 years, Larry G. Stanton and he survives.

Linda was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Greencastle and an avid Elvis fan.

Survivors in addition to her husband include four children, T.J. Stanton, Robbie Stanton, Billy Stanton and Lisa Stanton; seven grandchildren; sister Wanda Lady; brothers Jerry Shoemaker and John Shoemaker; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, brothers James and Donald Shoemaker and sisters Tina Moore and Mary Margaret Shoemaker preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with Pastor John Wallen officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.

Burial will follow in the Coatesville Cemetery.
