Born in Clintonvile, Pa., he was educated in Bradford, Pa., Bolivar and Olean, and began his career in Rochester as a billing clerk for the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh railroad ... From 1933 to 1938, he was a case supervisor for the Erie county Social Welfare department. The next year he was ordained as a clergyman and had been minister of the Baptist church in Burlington Flats since September, 1939. He is survived by his widow, Minnie. Burial was in Mt.
