Mrs. Flinchbaugh was the daughter of the late Truman W. and Velma R. (Schmuck) Boyd. She was born on August 12, 1929 in Windsor Township where she attended Small's one-room schoolhouse on Burkholder Road.
She worked for Consumers Box Factory Kaltreider Box Factory, and Keener Kitchens all of Red Lion, and retired in 1994 from Rojahn Company in Dallastown.
Mrs. Flinchbaugh was a former member of Red Lion Assembly of God Church and attended Red Lion Bible Church since 2005.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping them in any way she could.
Mrs. Flinchbaugh leaves a son, Glen H. Flinchbaugh and wife Robin of Seven Valleys; a daughter, Norma Jean Flinchbaugh of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Shawn and Kristi Flinchbaugh; two brothers, Ray D. Boyd of Brogue and Wayne T. Boyd of Yoe; and two sisters, Florine M. Deller and husband Dean of Dallastown and Linda K. Arnold and husband Jack of Red Lion.
A son, Bradly S. Flinchbaugh and a sister, Doris R. Boyd, preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., December 22, 2012, at Life Tributes By Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel, Red Lion, with a viewing from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The Rev. Steven Schmuck will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Salem Community Cemetery in Lower Windsor Township.
