Phyllis E. (Glatfelter) Adams-Gemmill, 65, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at York Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Gary R. Gemmill.
Phyllis was born on September 30, 1947, in York, a daughter of Mildred P. "Mil" (Koller) Stine of York and the late Sterling Glatfelter, and stepdaughter of the late Harold E. Stine.
She was employed as an Inside Sales Representative for over 13 years with Ettline Foods Corp. in York until her retirement in March 2012.
She also leaves three sons, Todd A. Adams of Shrewsbury, Shawn Gemmill of York, and Scott Gemmill of Jacksonville Fla.; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Lawrence L. Glatfelter of York and Stanley K. Glatfelter of Seaford, Del.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. John Trout officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
