Born on April 9, 1928 in Moundsville, W. Va., she lived in Alliance most of her life and was a member of Bolton United Methodist Church.
Eva was a retired nurse's aid and had previously worked at the former Roker Nursing Home.
Mrs. Middleton was a member of Alliance Senior Citizens and the Red Hat Society at Bel Air Care Center.
In her past-time, she enjoyed camping, bowling, bingo, watching the Cleveland Indians and especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sandy Roose of Alliance and Terry (Denny) Frank of Marlboro; four sons, Larry (Pat) Middleton of Alliance, Dewey "Bud" (Debbie) Middleton, Jr. of Canton, James E. (Joyce) Middleton of Alliance and Tim (Luann) Middleton of Alliance; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Dewey Middleton on September 28, 1998, whom she married on February 8, 1946; her parents, Clarence and Arizona (May) Loy; a granddaughter, Tiffany Marie Middleton; a son-in-law, James Roose; four sisters, Goldie Ott, Mary Helms, Inez Dorsey and Elizabeth Henry; and seven brothers, Edward, Kenneth, Clarence, Jack, Charles, William and James Loy.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, December 24, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. with Dr. David Bloor of Bolton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
