Larry Glade, 72, of Ottawa, died Thursday afternoon, December 20, 2012 at Ottawa Pavilion.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Private services will be on Saturday, December 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
Larry was born on May 11, 1940, in Ottawa to John and Selma (Jensen) Glade. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. He married Sharon English on August 31, 1968 in Cornell. Larry served in the US Army. He worked Union Carbide in Ottawa, then at Alumax in Morris, and later at Jim Boe Firestone in Ottawa.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, 2 sons, Todd (Jami) Glade, of Rock Falls and Jeff (Patricia) Glade, of Shorewood, 3 grandchildren; Jessica, Erin and Andrew and 1 great grandson, Nathaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother John Glade.
