Kevin Lee Vaughn, 46, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2012 at the Community Hospital, Anderson, IN. He was born on October 26, 1966 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He was a 2nd LT. of the APA Civil Air Patrol. He had also just received his license to substitute teach. Kevin was a member of New Life Christian Church. He did a lot of volunteering with Anderson Preparatory Academy. He had previously been a truck driver for 25 years and loved to work on cars. He was also ready to help family members when they needed anything.
Kevin is survived by his loving spouse, Kyleene (Couch) Vaughn, Anderson, IN, daughters, Christy Barron, Shayleene Vaughn and Alyssa Vaughn, grandchildren, Laura McCarty and Jeremy McCarty, father, Kenneth Vaughn of TN, brothers, Kreg (Penny) Vaughn and Scott (Dawn) Butrum, father and mother-in-law, Edward (Gwen) Mousa and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Butrum and grandfather, Elmer Rushton.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana.
Services will be Sunday, December 23, 2012, 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Johnny Cawthon officiating.
Cremation will take place.
