Born on December 23, 1916, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phil, brothers, Malcom Brant, H. C. Brant, and her parents, Herschel and Etta Brant.
She was an active member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church for over 60 years and a member of AARP.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennie Linda Johnson and son-in-law, Jerry L Johnson, granddaughters Stacy Hansard and husband, Kevin of Dallas, TX; Dana Frank and husband, Andrew of Coppell, TX; Amanda Scott and husband, John of Ranger, TX; six great-grand children; Alex, Hannah, Sarah and Taylor Scott; Katie and Philip Frank; and sisters, Sally Taylor and Veva Brant..
Visitation will be held at Roller Owens Funeral Home on December 27 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 28 at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in NLR with Reverends John Alston and Rich Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Edgewood Memorial Park.
