On May 2, 1980 he was united in marriage to Lynn Hackbarth in Sheboygan Falls. Jeff had previously worked as a welder for Stoelting Mfg. and most recently at Vollrath Inc. until 2010 when he retired due to health reasons. He was a former member of the Kiel Jaycees. Jeff was also a huge Nascar fan and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Jude.
Survivors include his wife Lynn, a son; Greg (Ashley) Hausler, New Holstein, a daughter; Ericka (Dan) Claflin, Alexandria VA. four grandchildren; Noah, Nathan, Molly and Sawyer, his mother; Betty (Joe) Bessette, Sheboygan, two brothers; Brad Hausler, Milwaukee, Kevin (Mary) Hausler, Wausau. He is further survived by his in-laws; Ann (Mike) Wollersheim, Chilton, John Hackbarth, Kiel.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Gordon.
Funeral services for Jeff will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, with Deacon Pat Knier officiating.
Burial at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
