ANNE MARGARET HEAD FARRELL (1912-1994)

Anne M. Farrell, 81, of Creve Coeur died at 1:58 .m. Thursday, OCT 27, 1994, at her daughter's home in Peoria.

Born Dec. 19, 1912, in Champaign County to Edward and Elizabeth Cleary Head, she married Kenneth T. Farrell on Sejpt. 16, 1933, in Kentland, ind. He died Feb 1, 1953, in Creve Coeur, IL. She also was preceded in death by three siters and one brother.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Al (Beverly) Matheny of Peoria; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alta Brown of Champaign and Mary Jo Collins of Rantoul; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a department manager for Sears Roebuck & Co. in Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Sears Retirees Club. She was a charter member of Sacre Coeur Catholic Church in Creve Coeur and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Peoria, IL. The Rev. Thomas R. Miller will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m.. Monday at Glen Cemetery in Paxton, IL. The Rev. Stanley J. Malinowski will officiate. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to her church, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, notre DAme High School or the Alzheimer's Association.
