Naomi L. (Covey) Scott, 92, died Sept. 18 (1999) at the Brownsburg Health Care Center. Mrs. Scott was born June 26, 1907 to Earl F. and Dora B. (Randle) Covey. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil W. Scott.
Mrs. Scott worked at Aircraft & Electronics in Avon retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Pittsboro Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons: Earl J. Scott of Janesville, Wisconsin, Ovid R. Scott of Lebanon and Charles D. Scott of Lizton; one daughter, Rosalie Finney of Lebanon; two brothers, Lloyd R. Covey of Danville and Kenneth R. Covey of North Salem; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 21 at the Pittsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Lambert officiating. Burial was at the K of P Cemetery, Lizton.
