Marriage record revealed Charles Martel, a laborer and Josephte Pepin married in August 1820 in Clarlesbourg, Quebec. His parents were Joseph Martel and Marie Magdeleine Falardeau. Her parents were Louis Pepin and Marguerette Bedard.

Charles was twenty-four and Josephte was twenty-five when they married.

Ferdinand Martel (b.1826 d.1905)

They had been married fifteen years when Charles died in 1836.

Josephte lived to about age 62.
