Ida Pearl Smith, 87, of Pensacola, went to Heaven on August 25, 2003 following a lengthy illness.
"Aunt Pearl" was a kind, loving Christian lady, who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Charles Ray Downs, and infant daughter Sandra Jean Bonner; two wonderful sisters Lavada Redmon & Allie Mae LeMarchand; husband, Morgan Smith; parents John Armstrong and Ida Mae Armstrong and brother Oresta Armstrong a proud U. S. Marine lost in WW II.

She is survived two sons: David Bonner & Michael Bonner; Brother, Neal Armstrong; and a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Words cannot describe the gratitude felt for the very special care provided by the Angels of Covenant Hospice, during her struggle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2003 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplain George Morgan of Covenant Hospice officiating.

Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

EASTERN GATE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2001 North Palafox Street, Pensacola, Florida 32501.
