Harry was born to Stanislaus (ID 152210289) & his wife Pelagis Pecynski (ID 152211376) Chmielewski/Meleski, Polish immigrants, shortly after arriving in America. One could imagine the hardships they were dealing with because soon after he was born, Harry was adopted by Chemung native Charles Everett & his wife Lucy Hodge.

In 1915 Harry married Amelia Theetge, daughter of Joseph Theetge and his wife Rose Cinnamon. They divorced 5 years later. No children were born of this union.

In 1920 Harry married Annie Ribble, daughter of Andrew & Ruth Conway Ribble. FThey had 8 children:

1. Eva Marie Everett Kelly (1921-1999)
2. Infant (1922)
3. Doris Everett Waite (1923-1991)
4. Robert Everett (1927-2001)
5. Betty Everett Curtis (1928-2003)
6. Patricia Everett Newman (1929-2003)
7. Martha Everett DeRoche (1931-1998)
8. Rosemary Everett McDonald (1933-2019)

Annie died in 1960 & was buried in Chemung. Three years later Harry died of heart failure & was buried in Phillips Cemetery without a marker. After which the cemetery lost burial records & accidentally buried someone else where he was thought to be.

He was known to be a quiet, hardworking man. Harry's occupation through the great depression was as a migrant farmworker, which lead him to move from area to area.

♥ Rest in peace Grandpa Harry ♥
