Bowman, Earl G. "Dickie", 84, husband of Thelma Jeter Bowman, passed away Sat., Dec. 16, 2012. Mr. Bowman was born July 2, 1928 in Lexington to the late Ronald E. Bowman and Henrietta J. Bentley. He served in the U.S. Navy, attended the University of Kentucky, was a retired Lexington Firefighter, owned Lexington Answering Service, and was an employee of the Keeneland Association.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19th at Cathedral of Christ the King. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street.
