Born in Ireland and immigrated to the US in 1869 with sister Mary. For Many years he lived with his two sister Mary and Bridget (see Memorial #102351268) with Bridget's husband William Pryor. He was a father figure for Bridget's children Anne, Catherine (Katy), William, and Mary Ann. He is listed as a witness on William Pryor Sr's application for citizenship.

By 1920 William's family was living with the father in law Cornelius Callahan at 957 Caulwell Ave in the Bronx without William Senior. His wife, Bridget, is identified as Married and the oldest child William C seems to be supporting the household as a Railroad Baggage Master.

William Sr appears to be living by himself in a single room at 510 E 17th street in Manhattan. In 1821 William Sr returned to live the remainder of his life in Ireland.
