Leroy Evans, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. David Evans residing on N. Hand Street, died at his home on Thursday afternoon, following a long illness. To survive he leaves his parents, and the following brothers and sisters; Arthur, Joseph, Ray, John, Mark, Jean, May and David.
He was a baptized member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Tower City and was a pupil of the eighth grade in the Tower City schools at the close of the last term.
The funeral will be held from the home of his parents on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be conducted at the house by Rev. Ira F. Frankenfield, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral director Dean O. Snyder was in charge.
