In the Harn family book, I have listed as the son of John Harn & Elizabeth King Harn, Robert Hamilton Harn b 4 May 1863 and d 3 Dec 1874.

The information for this family was supplied by Mary A. Ridge of Heisterburg, Fayette Co., PA, for the family of her grandfather Perry G. Harn s/o Greenbury Harn. Her information was provided on 3 Jul 1901. She supplied the information about John Hamilton Harn given above.

That matches well with the 1870 census in Luzerne Twp., Fayette Co.
Harn John 45 shoemaker 600 200 PA
Elizabeth 44 PA
Mary Ann 18 PA
Rhoda B. 14 PA
John 12 PA
William 10 PA
Robert H. 7 PA
Bates Rhoda 65 MD

Robert H. is not listed with the family in 1880.

I have a 2nd photo for Rob't Harn that is a Civil War stone, the type provided by the government. It has a flag and a bronze star next to it in the photo I have. I have a note written by me that says "center, east fence; Civil War Veteran; Co. D 168th PA Vols".

In my file I have this for Robert, s/o Perry G. and Eva Strohm Harn
born 30 Apr 1829 died 27 Dec 1868.

PA Veterans Burial Cards show Robert served in the Civil War from 16 Oct 1862 to 25 Jul 1863 in Co D 168th PA Vols as a corporal. The location of his grave is described as "center, east fence" and states there is a GAR bronze marker for him.
