Services will be conducted there by Rev. Ira. F. Frankenfield, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Updegrave, nee Hoffman, was a native of Williamstown. She resided at Tower City for many years before the family moved to Philadelphia, where they have resided for more than twenty five years. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
To survive she leaves the following children: Earl Updegrave, with whom she resided; Henry, Martha A., wife of Fred Duvall; Beatrice, wife of Thomas McBrinn; Katie A., wife of George Kutzer; Edgar and Mabel, wife of Charles Steindl, all of Philadelphia.
