Brian Paul Hatfield, age 56, of Beckley, formerly of Lewisburg, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Pinecrest Hospital in Beckley, after a three month illness.
Mr. Hatfield was born April 6, 1944, at Friars Hill, the son of Vera McMillion Hatfield and the late Roy Paul Hatfield.
He was a graduate of Greenbrier High School, in Ronceverte, and West Virginia University. He was a former resident of Lewisburg, where he resided with his mother most of his adult life.
Surviving him are his mother, Vera McMillion Hatfield, of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, and a brother, William F. Hatfield, of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. He was a nephew of Ina Montgomery, of Buckeye.
Graveside services were held Monday afternoon at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg by Pastor Michael Estep.
