Born April 17, 1945 at Pine Bluff, Wanda was a daughter of the late Vernon Wallace Heird and Audrey Panckow Heird.
She attended Watson Chapel Schools and was a Jehovah's Witness.
For 20 years, she lived in Memphis and moved back to Pine Bluff in 1996.
Her survivors include two daughters, Lesley Eads (Dan) of Mascoutah, IL and Monica Nixon (Don) of Sheridan; a brother, Vernon Wallace Heird of Mayflower; and four grandchildren, Timothy Eads, Cassie Rushing, Christopher Eads, and Clayton Nixon.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Interment will be in Branch Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
