Daniel "Danny" Napoleon-He was a outfielder in Major League Baseball from 1965 to 1966 with the New York Mets. Napoleon batted and threw right-handed. Napoleon was signed as an amateur free agent by the Mets in 1964. He made his major league debut on April 14, 1965. The highlight of Napoleon's career was a pinch hit triple on April 24 against the San Francisco Giants that drove in 3 runs and helped the Mets win the game 7–6. It was the 3000th professional career win for manager Casey Stengel. On April 1, 1967, Danny was traded by the New York Mets to the St. Louis Cardinals with Ed Bressoud in exchange for Jerry Buchek, Art Mahaffey and Tony Martinez. He died in 2003.
