Carl D. Pearson

Carl D. Pearson, 57, of Delhi Stage, died suddenly at his home Febraury 3.

Funeral services will be at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at the bookout Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roswell W. Lyon, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. The body will be placed in the funeral home vault for burial later in Oneonta Plains Cemetery.

Mr. Pearson was born in Oneonta Dec. 29, 1901, son of John and Jane (Baker) Pearson. He married Mary Alice Dye in Oneonta Oct. 28, 1922. He was a wringerman for Otsego Laundry.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Ivan, Delhi Stage; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Baker, 36 London Ave.; Miss Rosalie Ann Baker, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Harold of Amstersdam and John H. of Bunker Hill, Md.; nine granchildren and several nieces and nephews.
