She was the daughter of Jacob and Josephine (Stegeman) Bernard. On May 28, 1948, she married Richard Overman, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Rhonda), Celina; a sister, Roseanne Braun, Coldwater; and two grandchildren: Max Overman, Celina, and Bailey (Mark) Snyder, Dublin.
Deceased are five brothers: Alfred, Ferd, Fred Bernard, and Bernard and Carl Stegeman; and three sisters: Edna Hartings, Ruth Rohler and Rita Fortkamp.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, and St. John The Baptist Church, the Ladies Sodality of St. John Church and The American Legion Auxilary, all Maria Stein. She retired from Hemmelgarn Eggs Inc., were she was a secretary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John Church, with Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating.
