She was born March 9, 1931 at Wisner, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Olga A. (Webrer) Spoering.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
She was a Presbyterian.
She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star in Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Lee Salyersm a retired bricklayer, on August 14, 2006; a step-daughter, Karen Sue Salyers Darr; a brother, Orvid Spoering; and a sister, Celestine "Sally" Spoering.
Survivors include three sons, Ted Salyers of Nickerson, Kansas, Mike Hanoka of Tucson, Arizona and Steve Hanoka of Orange County, California; five daughters, Ruth Somers of Denton, Texas, Sharon Keys of Witter, Arkansas, Della Miller of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Rochelle Blanco of Sacramento, California and Lenore Hanoka of Lynn, Massachusetts; two brothers, Clell Spoering and Weston Spoering, both of Buffalo, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Chaplain Priscilla Mondt officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas.
