CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Paulene Abney Boyd, 65, of Cartersville died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.
Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. CST at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with Mr. Lawrence Reed officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband, Joseph Boyd of Cartersville; two sons, Joseph Michael (Rhonda) Boyd of Cartersville and Timothy Alan Boyd of Opelika; one sister, Sue Norgard of Montgomery; and two grandchildren, Reese Boyd of Cartersville and LeAnne Clements of Opelika.
Mrs. Boyd was born Feb. 18, 1942 in Chambers County. She was retired from civil service, having worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Mrs. Boyd was a member of First Methodist Church of LaFayette.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette. Jeff Jones Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
