William H. Arnold, 87, entered into rest on Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was affectionately known as "Wild Bill" at Many Healthcare North because of this cheerful attitude and good-nature.
Bill was born in Columbus, Louisiana on September 29, 1925 to the late E. C. "Bud" and Buela Mae Arnold. He was the fifth of nine children. He was preceded in death by siblings Gracie Allison, James L. Arnold, Harold Arnold, Geraldine Pelanconi, Jeanette Andrus, Betty Mosely, and Joseph C. Arnold. He leaves behind his brother Hulan Arnold and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill attended school at Negreet, Louisiana. He joined the navy and vigilantly served his country during World War II. His childhood years and most of his adult life were spent near Boone's Landing. He worked for Boise Cascade until retirement.
A memorial service were Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the homestead on Arnold Road. Bill's family would like to express their gratitude for the care provided him by the staff at Many Healthcare North.
