Harold Curtis Oliver, 88 of Calion passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Timberlane Health and Rehab in El Dorado. Mr. Oliver was born February 9, 1927 in Union County, AR to Paul Curtis Oliver and Cora Lee Oliver.

Mr. Oliver was a retired tile layer, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII aboard a Navy Destroyer. He loved to fish and hunt and being in the woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Pat Oliver; a daughter; Beckey Oliver and his brother, Carol Hardy Oliver.

Survivors include his step-son; Ronnie Hale, four grandsons; Donnie Bledsoe, Scott Hale, Ray Hale and Patrick Hale, all of Calion, one granddaughter; Rhonda Moss of Haynesville, LA, eight great grandchildren, one sister; Sylvia Gaston of New Orleans, LA , and his special K9 companion; Bo.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Bethel Cemetery in Calion, with Rev. Larry Hudson officiating.
