Funeral services for Dawn Kills Crow Taylor, 38, Cherry Creek, SD, will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Cherry Creek Community Center, Cherry Creek, SD.
Burial at the UCC Cemetery in Cherry Creek. Meet Cherry Creek Hill at 5:00 PM Friday, to process to the Community Center for all night wake with services beginning at 7:00 PM. Dawn entered the spirit world Dec. 9 in Rapid City. Stout Family Funeral Home of Mobridge. www.stoutfamilyfh.com

Dawn Marie Kills Crow was born August 24, 1974 in Rosebud, South Dakota to Dennis & Theresa (Hale) Kills Crow. She attended Cherry Creek Head Start and Cherry Creek Day School through sixth grade. She went on to attend Eagle Butte High School.
Dawn met Daniel Hayes Sr., and they spent a lot of wonderful years together. They had five beautiful children, the first was a little girl which was stillborn.
The surviving children are Kyra Ann Hayes, Alyssa Bree Hayes, Daniel Sherman Hayes, Jr. and Autumn Lashae Kills Crow. They loved and cherished their children very much.
Dawn enjoyed playing bingo and hanging out with friends. She always had a smile for everyone and made everyone laugh.
While in Rapid City, she always found work, working day jobs, housekeeping and construction. She had a lot of friends in Rapid City. She had a very special friend, Candace Good Buffalo, who she adopted in the Lakota way.
Everyone loved to be around her when she came home for visits. She was a loveable, awesome, caring sister, auntie, grandma, cousin and friend.
Dawn was lately having health problems, and was in and out of the hospital. She was living in Rapid City up until the time of her death.
She had very special friends that cared for her until her passing, Metrice Condon & Doug Kemp.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Kyra Ann Hayes, Alyssa Bree Hayes, Daniel Shermen Hayes, Jr. and Autumn Lashae Kills Crow; sisters, Denise (Richard) Crow Ghost & family, Angelic (Willard) Demery & family, Amber Kills Crow & son, A.J. Black Tail Deer; aunties, Connie (James) Bear Stops & family, Martha (Eric) Hernandez & family, Helmina Makes Him First & family, Gena (Carlin) Clown & family, Blanche Lawrence & family, Patricia Red Fox & family, Lavina Eagle Chasing & family; uncles, Larry (Delia) Hale & family, Herbert & Rhianna Hale, Cleo Hale, Richard Hale, Ben (Lucy) One Feather & family, Daryl Whipple and Buzzy Yellow Hawk.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis & Theresa Hale Kills Crow; daughter, Baby girl Hayes; sister, Mary Isabel Kills Crow; grandparents, Robert & Isabel Hale and Mary Jane Kills Crow and an auntie, Charmaine Harrison.
